Activities

Over the spring and summer, Members of the Canberra Club and their partners have enjoyed many outings in beautiful locations in the Nation’s Capital.

Floriade is the annual spectacular spring display of flowers in Commonwealth Park held from mid-September to mid-October. In a Club tradition, Members visited Floriade this year for a picnic and once again enjoyed the beautiful flowers which seem to get better every year. The theme of Floriade 2014 was “Embrace passion” and our Members, photographed with their arms linked, seem to be taking the theme to heart.

In December, Members celebrated Christmas at the Hyatt Hotel, Yarralumla. The winners of the Brains Trust Christmas Quizz worked together very hard to answer all the questions correctly.
